This is it--THE END------ of this season

Show off those battle scars
Rest up those guns
We certainly gave up too many runs
But don't fret yet
'Cause I like what I hear
Come next season
We'll give them something to FEAR!!!!!

GO DRAGONS

Wednesday, April 9, 2008

Well Ladies,
Spring break has sprung over and left us lethargic as we finish up the last few games. Players are dropping like fly balls but I do appreciate the faithful few willing to come out and get their lumps. That pitcher from Ely left us with few, although Sprinkles thumped a couple of them also. It's been a tough season but the end score does not measure the improvement or the heart. It seems like the last few games we were forced to put players at positions they never played before, and those are great but tough learning experiences. Nothing like a view from a different perspective and not a better feeling than "I CAN do this". Let me encourage all of you to continue playing this summer. Find a league in your area and sign up. This is a game, do your best and have fun!

Its been a tough run of games and we are looking for some bright spots.
The hits are hard to come by (unless you are downloading them) but Mermaid did catch a fly ball and Shinguards did throw a runner out leading off first base and these pictures tell a story (don't ask)

Hopefully the next run of games will have the results we have been working hard for.

KEEP IT UP

Hey Ladies.
Its been a tough two weeks. We did get our win under our belts but have been taking our lumps (literally) since then. You girls have been tough and Tim and I are impressed, you are getting that softball "tatoo". Ice and time will heal it. We are not quite halfway there yet and after next week we have more home games than away. FCAT's next week then three games, you can take your testing frustrations out by taking a bat to that yellow moving object.
