I hope all of you reminded Santa to bring you navy blue under armor. If not, there is still time to take something you don't like back and exchange it for navy blue under armor.
Those of you who decided not to come to practice the last Thursday (you all know who you are) better be thankful that it rained.
Full blown practice begins Monday upon returning to school, that means bring your gloves and cleats. It also means that I need the completed paperwork from those who have not given it to me yet.
We will have about four weeks to prepare for our first game. Games start February 8, it will be here sooner than you think.
Enjoy the holidays. HO! HO! HO!

Ramping Up

Hey Ladies,
Don't mind that guy over there on the side, someone's been messing with my blog.
Here are the forms you need to have completed to play. I also need copies of your birth certificate and insurance card. Click on the link below to go to the form download page:

We will start conditioning on December7 , Monday through Thursday 3:15 to 4:30. You will be expected three out of the four days for the next two weeks until Christmas break. NO EXCUSES.
We will then jump into practice/tryouts when school starts up again, going all four days until games start beginning of Feburary. See you soon.

Good to see all of you again, as well as the newcomers. I was encouraged at our meeting today. The players we will need to bring on board looks like they will bring some experience with them as well as being available in the years ahead. This is a good thing. It makes me want to get started now but that would burn us out too early. Get that paperwork done and we will get back together soon.
SPIT-FIRE !!!!!!!

Hope the summer treated you well and you are settling back into the school routine.
What's new?
Obvious by now is the school is not getting torn down (probably never)
We have changed school districts. Instead of losing St Thomas we picked up Pines Charter and a bunch of other private schools (with exceptions of Lauderdale & Hallandale)
Scorch has changed schools. We are now in need of a catcher, who will it be? Rambo? Noodle? Randa??
With a predominantly senior team, we need to recruit a few young (victims) players.
Any other scuttlebutt on returning players?? Fill me in!!
Need to do:
Physicals and paperwork. See past blog post for low cost Doctors office.
Think about playing again. There are a couple of tournaments in November we may want to
play. (For fun, in our case)
Softball interest meeting ( in near future)
Nothing like putting more stuff on you plates, but--------------------
Don't forget about SOFTBALL!!!!!

Softball Camp

Happy Summer Ladies
Yes, school is out and now you are bored. Scorch found a softball camp at Nova-Southeastern which you might be interested in. If all day is too much, they have some individual times in the evenings to hone you skills, hitting, fielding, & pitching. Check it out!
